christmas eve

christmas eve is when we headed down to albia. we got there shortly after 1pm. we waited for adam's step-brother and his family to show up, and then we did gifts with doyle and tina. the kids scored some great things.

fletcher loves his fisher-price farm and animals and the toy story chair/couch has been a big hit too. b got some good stuff too, she just doesn't get that she can play with it. i have had fun playing with her laugh and learn puppy though. about 6pm we headed down to the community room at benton place to do the mick family christmas. soups galore, along with meat and cheese trays, veggies and tons of desserts were served and then it's gift time. fletcher and kate waited so patiently while gg glo and gg harold opened their gifts. then it was their turn and then time for the adults to do the women/men gift exchange.

by the time we got back to the house, it was a few hours after the kids should have gone to bed, but they were still wired from all the people and excitement. i attempted a picture with them in their jams, but i was not successful.
