We had dentist visits last week. Fletcher just had a week about dental health at school, so I didn't feel like I needed to talk our trip up to him, but I was making it all sound so exciting for brynlee. She had never laid on the bench by herself, and since I was solo this trip, I didn't want to fight her, so I may have made dome promises if she was a big girl.
When we got there, she ran right up to the bench and waited her turn. The hygienist gave her some fancy purple shades and all was good. She opened wide and let her brush her teeth. When Dr. Matt came out, she did what he asked and tolerated everything he did.
Fletcher just waited and watched little mermaid while it was Brynlee's turn. He was a pro. The only thing he needs to do is answer the question when they ask what flavor of toothpaste he wants. I think he was caught of guard by the choices. Dr. Matt took a look and commented on his cross bite and how a retainer may be in Fletcher's future. He also wanted another X-ray to see how the late August mishap had healed. Everything is where it should be and he's on schedule to start losing his teeth in about a year.
All in all, everything was good and I got out of there with zero tears and a little girl who reminded me of my promise.
