Made it to Texarkana. The longest drive ever. We went to the driver's meeting at 8:15 and didn't get to leave until it was our turn to leave. 10:08 to be exact. We were the third to last car to leave the lot. We followed the route, through all the small towns along the way. That's the reason it took so long. The three hour drive took over five hours.
We finally made it to the four state fairgrounds in Texarkana where the show was happening for the day. We made it through quickly, as we were all ready to be done with driving for the day. 
We couldn't wait to be at the hotel. We promised the kids we would go swim after we ate. We decided to eat at a tex-mex place across from our hotel...the site of Mexican left me craving a margarita. We found out that we were staying in a dry county, boo! 
After dinner, we made it to the pool, for all of five minutes. The water was too cold for Brynlee and Fletcher was being a scaredy cat and Adam and I weren't going to deal with it, so we headed back to the room. Early to bed for all of us and awful connection so I couldn't post on Facebook or blogger. I guess I needed the sleep.
