the family is strong.
the princess is stronger.
she's happy and loving life. doing everything that every other 4 year old should be doing.
i thank god everyday for this little girl.

one year ago...
was a terribly sad day for my side of the family. my sweet niece, 2 weeks shy of her 4th birthday, was diagnosed with cancer. i remember getting emails and phone calls. people asking what they could do to help, info on neuroblastoma (the kind of childhood cancer cam was diagnosed with), how everyone was handling it...and frankly, i was 5 months pregnant and the hormones/emotions were not treating me well. it was a tough day...week...month...year.
today, it's a year later and a whole new diagnosis. she's finishing up her last day, of her last round of treatment. she's celebrating the tears and cheers of the past year.
