Just the 2 of us!

Adam had to travel to Houston for work this past week so Fletcher and I have been on our own. We went to Des Moines last Sunday for dinner at my parent's and Adam stayed the night and was taken to the airport by my dad. Fletcher and I came home to spend a few days before returning to Grandma and Grandpa Jackovich's.
Monday I was suppose to babysit, but the little guy was sick so they cancelled. Fletcher and I spent some mommy/baby time together and ran errands in the icky weather we were having. We enjoyed a few games of peek-a-boo and patty cake during the day.
Tuesday we just hung out at home, not too much of anything. We had our lounge wear on so we were extra comfy watching cartoons and playing all day.
Wednesday we went to Babes In Arms at our local library. Fletcher got to see his little girlfriend Allison and we danced and sang with the other mommies and babies. Nap time was quickly approaching, so we hurried home, had some lunch and Fletcher napped while I packed our bags. We left for Des Moines and arrived just in time to watch Grandpa make dinner. Aunt Jen and Camryn came and the kids played and the adults talked.
Thursday we took a trip to Grandma's bank so all of her co-workers could see Fletcher. He sure did show-off for everyone with his fancy walking skills. We made a quick trip to Target and then headed west to Aunt Jen's house. When we arrived, Jennifer was getting ready to get Camryn from pre-school so Fletcher and I just played while we waited. They arrived home and all Camryn wanted to do was play in her room with Fletcher. The two of them played well together while Jen and I talked about the babies, how she was doing, Fletcher's fast approaching birthday, and some other random stuff. Our afternoon was enjoyable and soon came to an end.
Friday afternoon we ventured down to my friend's house and caught up on the past few months. Fletcher played with Hollie's kids while we talked in the kitchen. We enjoyed lunch with them and then headed back to Grandma and Grandpa's so a little boy could take a nap...something he fights terribly when we are away from our house. We waited for Grandma to arrive home from work to head to the church fish fry, only to be turned away because there wasn't much food left...good thing Long John Silver's was close. After we ate, Fletcher got a much needed bath and we played a bit before it was time for a bottle and bed. I picked Adam up from the airport around 10pm, went back to my parents' and got ready for bed.
