A few weeks ago I got to tag along with fletcher and his class to center grove orchard for their class field trip. They had been learning about apples, so we got on the hayride and rode out to the orchard to pick some apples.
After that, we got to go to the sorting room and learn how the apples are picked, cleaned, sorted and stores until they are ready to be used or sold.
There was a little break in the learning, so we headed to the cornpool for a little play time before going to the schoolhouse for a story.
It was such a fun time watching him interact with his new friends and getting excited about new things. And it was great to have a little time with just him.
