The Saturday of father's day weekend, there was a little Mick gathering at uncle Dave's house. Aunts and uncles and siblings and cousins and nieces and nephews and grandma all came for some food and a little socializing.
Everyone brought a dish and Lois and Dave provided the dogs and burgers. We chatted and caught up on the latest happenings. There was even cotton candy to enjoy-made from the original machine that Dave and Doyle used when they were boys, when they sold cotton candy at the local fairs and town festivals. After things were cleaned up, we all headed down to the pond for a bit of sunset fishing and relaxing. Fletcher was the only one to catch a fish and Brynlee was the only one who wanted to be in the water, which was not okay. Bedtime was approaching for my littles so we backed them up and said goodbye to everyone. It was a great evening and much overdue.
