the night of new years day, i wanted to grab a picture of the kids 'celebrating' with their cool, handmade party hats on. it didn't work out too well. little boy was not thrilled with the hat, nor was he excited about having to hold his sister down so we could attempt the following shots. we did get a decent one that we had made into a new years card for our family. it did the job. hopefully this little tradition will go better next year.
