go cubs go!

a few fridays ago, adam's company had a company social at an iowa cubs game. this is one of the socials that i look forward to. not only are the significant others welcome, but the kids are too. this year, we met in the same general area to tailgate before the game. there was a bunch of chatting, kids running, cornhole playing, beer drinking, and food eating. it was a good time.

we waited for the rush of people to go in, so we didn't have to wait in line with an impatient 2 year old and a wiggly baby. i think by the time we got to our seats, it was the second inning. our seats were pretty decent, but if the sun had been shining, i would not be saying that. fletcher was much better behaved than i thought he would be and brynlee slept the majority of the time we were there. about 9 o'clock we headed for the car. brynlee was due for a feeding and little boy was getting sleepy.
