on sunday, adam, the kids and i loaded up and headed to saylorville lake where my sister and her family were camping, to celebrate the dads with a nice campers breakfast. my parents also joined in the fun, as well as the other two families camping with my sis. paul made some delicious donuts from biscuits (which the big girls helped with), and a wonderful scramble with eggs, sausage, bacon, ham, hashbrowns, peppers, onions and cheese. there were mimosas and bloody marys for the grown ups and juice for the littles.

all the kids played well together...or tolerated one and other. fletcher and cole became buddies, while chase had to be caged in with them. brynlee had a fun time being passed around and camryn was even caught trying to teach her how to stick out her tongue...give her a few months and i'm sure she'll pick it up.

adam left around 1pm and headed down to his dad's for his alumni football practice and the kids and i stayed a while longer and then went to my parents' house for the evening, until adam came to pick us up. we all had a pretty good day in the sun, enjoying everyones company. it was an enjoyably, hot and sweaty day celebrating the wonderful dads in our lives.

and here's another special guy that we didn't get to see...pops, happy father's day a few days late.
