the start of halloween fun

 On Saturday, we took Fletcher to Night Eyes at the Blank Park Zoo. We decided to go in the middle of the afternoon to avoid the major crowds and to be able to get in and out with little boy...you never know how he is going to be in public. I got him a warm, giraffe suit that I found at Sam's Club back in early September, and figured it would be perfect for the end of October when the weather would be cool. Since the temperature was 70ish on Saturday, he was a bit warm and was ready to get out of his costume by the end. Overall, a successful outing with a little bit of a treat. I had never been before and was a bit disappointed. Most of the animals were put away for the winter and the treat booths were not decorated well and most of the people were not friendly. I think we'll try next year, but if it's the same, we won't be making future trips to the annual Night Eyes event.

{before we started...he didn't act excited}

 {my little pirate boy}

{my big pirate boy}

 {the momma pirate}

 {checking out the farm animals}

 {giraffe boy needed a little play time}

 {watching the fish and ducks}

 {my little wild thing with a BIG wild thing}

 {pure sign of excitement, huh?}

 {playing in the corn. little girl in purple was being mean, little boy threw corn at her}

 {after numerous attempts to get his face in a picture, this is the best...and he's waving}

 {he hit the wall. officially done with the costume}
