here mom!

nothing exciting, but i have to share. this morning my phone was charging in the bedroom. fletcher and i were in the living room watching the end of sesame street, when all of a sudden, he goes running around like he often does. first he made his way to the kitchen. then i heard his little feet run down the hall. this is usually a guess as to which room he is in...hopefully it's not the bathroom, and if it is, that the toilet lid is down (a new favorite thing of his is to splash in the water...ewww!). i heard noise so i figured i was safe for another minute...silence is never good. didn't have to go after him for once because i heard his little giggles coming back down the hallway. he ran to me with the biggest smile, my phone in hand and handed it to me like he found something i had been looking for... it sure was a proud look.

on another note...this dark, rainy weather we've been having can leave anytime. it sure makes for some boring days inside. and it doesn't really get me motivated to do anything around the house. the only upside to the darkness...little boy sleeps in until 8:30 or 9:00. i'm still sure i'd take 7:30 and sunshine over sleeping in though.
